The I travel U travel Loyalty Program is a special discount program that earns our loyal corporate Traveler extra low rates for all of their I travel U travel reservations.

Travel Agents are entitled to Loyalty Points earned from reservation value, to be used for a future reservation with I travel U travel. I travel U travel ensures the lowest prices online. By routinely booking travel services through the I travel U travel Loyalty Program, customers can save even more on top of I travel U travel’s unbeatable prices. Joining the I travel U travel Loyalty Program is automatic and absolutely free.

By availing of our Loyalty Program, you acknowledge to provide your full, absolute & unconditional knowledgeable consent and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

  • All and any aspect regarding the loyalty points / coupons for each and any reservation will be determined by us in accordance with our sole and absolute discretion and may include, but is not limited to, the list below:
    • The amount of loyalty points
    • The time-frame (period) for the bonus points / coupons to be used
    • The conversion (exchange) rate for converting bonus points / coupons from one currency to another currency (in case, for example, the currency of the coupon is different from the reservation transaction currency)
    • The validity of the loyalty points and coupons that were generated based on bonus points
  • Loyalty points are only valid for paid and consumed (not cancelled) reservations
  • To receive from us any form of communication, including: messages, notices, alerts etc. (by emails, mails, phone calls, sms/text messges or otherwise) in general and also specifically regarding your loyalty points / coupons.

What is the ITRAVEL-UTRAVEL Loyalty Program?

Our Loyalty Program is a special discount program that earns our loyal customers extra low rates for all of their reservations made via itravel-utravel.

How do I join the Loyalty Program?

You join the Loyalty Program automatically once your booking is confirmed. Joining the Loyalty Program is absolutely free, and entails no extra charge.

What are Loyalty Points?

Loyalty Points are credits generated by booking travel services through our website. These Loyalty points are awarded to you with every confirmed booking and can be used as credits/savings towards account balances or future travel services booked via our website.

How do I earn Loyalty Points?

Every time that you book travel services through I TRAVEL U TRAVEL you will earn Loyalty Points in proportion to the booking invoice value and the hotel’s Loyalty Value (if relevant).

What is the value of Loyalty Points?*****

The value of Loyalty Points earned are based on various parameters such as the destination booked, our margin, specific travel service booked, season, booking pattern and so on.

What is the Loyalty Points value of the travel service I wish to reserve?

The Loyalty Points appear on the hotel page and on the purchase page. (booking details page).

How do I use my Loyalty Points?

The maximum amount of Loyalty Points required to cover the transaction value will be applied (up to the sum total of the individual transaction).

Your Loyalty Points need to be converted by you into a valid coupon at your personal customer area. Then the coupon can be used on the booking-details page (the payment page) to discount the reservation amount.

In order to do so, you need to access your online account with us by clicking on “Agency Login” link located on the right corner of our website and then enter your agency ID/user/password details on the log-in window.

On your agency access area, you will see the Loyalty Program section, among the available sections (tabs), there are two relevant sections (tabs):

  • “Loyalty Program” – where you can see the current status of all of your loyalty points and where you can convert your available loyalty points (all or a portion of it) into a coupon
  • “Coupons” – where you can see the current status of all of your coupons

In order to use a coupon for discounting any reservation price, you need to apply a coupon on the payment page by expanding the section ‘[+] use coupon’ and enter the coupon code (coupons codes are specified in your client profile area under ‘Coupons’ section (tab))

How long will it take for the Loyalty Points to be redeemed?

The Loyalty Points status will be automatically displayed in your Loyalty rewards Summary. The Loyalty Points will display as “pending” on your Loyalty Rewards Summary until the respective bookings have travelled and have been fully paid. The Loyalty points will move from “pending” to “available” status 30 days after travel is completed and paid.

Do I receive Loyalty Points for the part of a transaction paid for with Loyalty Points?

No. You will only receive Loyalty Credit for the part of a transaction paid for with currency.

How can I know how many Loyalty Points I will earn for each reservation?

Your Loyalty Points are based on the numeric value of your respective reservation. The amount may be occasionally higher for certain properties or destinations.

When can I use my Loyalty Points credit?

You will be able to start using your Loyalty Credit after the booked service is completed and paid for. Loyalty Points expire 6 months after reservation date for which the Loyalty Points were awarded.

Can I convert Loyalty Points to cash?

No. You cannot convert Loyalty Points to cash. Loyalty Points can only be used to obtain discounts for new bookings through Elite Destination.

Can I pay part of a booking with Bonus Points and the balance by some other payment method?

Yes. You can allocate a portion or all your valid Bonus Points towards a future booking and pay for the balance by credit card, bank transfer or cheque.

For example: The booking is for $1000, you allocate $400 worth of bonus points towards the booking and the balance is paid by credit card.

Will I receive Loyalty Points for accommodation that has been cancelled or that is unavailable?

No. Loyalty Points will not be earned for travel services that have been booked and then cancelled or for services that are unavailable.

Definition of Terms

I travel U travel Points will show as follows in the rewards summary section:

  • Available Points – Are points that clients can exchange for coupons. The “Available points” status shows 30 days after the respective travel service is completed and paid for.
  • Pending Points – Are points which are displayed as pending for a confirmed booking confirmed for which the service may not have been consumed (travelled) and/or been paid. See available points notes.
  • Used points – Are points that clients have already used/exchanged for coupons
  • Expired points – Are points that were not used within the expiration deadline (if client does not use the Available points within 3 months, points will expire)

The Process

  • Each confirmed and paid reservation will entitle the travel agent to loyatly points which can be credited torwards future reservations made by said agent. Accumulated points can be exchanged for a Coupon which may be used as a payment method on the web site.
  • The travel agent can select one or more reservations (with Valid points status) and issue a respective coupon from the web site.
  • The system automatically calculates the coupon value based on the number of points the travel agent has available. All coupons must be used by expiration date.
  • Once the coupon is created, the travel agent needs to check the coupon code. The Code for the coupon is showing under Accounting – Coupons.
